You are your own first responder. In a crisis—whether it is a natural disaster, a workplace accident, or a use-of-force incident—help is often minutes or even hours away. Because the #1 cause of death after an injury is preventable bleeding, the actions you take in the first few seconds determine the outcome. Trauma Medical  is designed to provide the skills, mindset, and confidence to bridge the critical gap between injury and the arrival of EMS.

What to Expect
This fast-paced, high-impact clinic moves beyond basic first aid. You will learn to identify life-threatening injuries and apply immediate, aggressive interventions. The curriculum covers:

The ABCs of Trauma: Mastering the sequence of Alert (911), Bleeding Control, and Compress/Pressure.

Critical Life-Saving Skills: Hands-on training in tourniquet application (CAT-7, SOFTT-W), deep wound packing, and treating arterial desanguination.

CPR & Medical Emergencies: Recognition and response protocols for heart attacks, strokes, seizures, and severe allergic reactions (Anaphylaxis).

Environmental & Accidental Trauma: Management of heat stroke, hypothermia, poisoning, burns, and fractures.

The Self-Defender Mindset: Understanding the legal and moral requirements of providing care after a use-of-force incident.

Who Should Attend
This course is essential for anyone who refuses to be a helpless bystander. It is specifically designed for:

Self-Defenders & CCW Holders: Learn how to fulfill the medical duty-of-care requirements often associated with self-defense incidents.

Outdoor Enthusiasts: Acquire the skills necessary for self-reliance in remote environments.

Safety-Conscious Professionals: Gain the expertise to protect colleagues in industrial or office settings.

Parents & Teachers: Learn to handle pediatric emergencies, choking, and allergic reactions.

Requirements

Liability Waiver: A signed liability waiver is required for all participants.

Personal Gear: Students are encouraged to bring their Everyday Carry (EDC) medical gear. Training with your own equipment ensures you are prepared to deploy it instinctively under stress.
