Class Overview:
What to Expect
Advanced Pistol I is a five-hour, live-fire course centered on developing an intimate, working knowledge of your handgun and your shooting process. The class uses the Dot Torture drill as a diagnostic and developmental tool to expose strengths, identify inefficiencies, and reinforce fundamentals under increasing demand.
Expect a deliberate pace that allows time for questions, explanations of concepts, and individualized coaching. Students will fire approximately 200 rounds over the course of the class. Instruction emphasizes consistency, accountability, and applying fundamentals at distance, to confidently engage targets out to 25 yards (range limit) and beyond.
This is not a high-speed, high-round-count class—it is a thinking shooter’s course focused on refinement and performance.
